This kit has everything you need to replace the components of your Dreamcast controller board.
- ML2032 Rechargeable battery and post – It is very important to get the proper battery for this. The Dreamcast will recharge the battery as it is running so you need a rechargeable battery or you can damage your Dreamcast. Do not be tricked into buying a CR2032 or the LIR2032 battery. The CR2032 does not recharge and the LIR2032 is the wrong voltage. Only the ML2032 gives the proper voltage and wont cause problems being on a charging circuit.
- Resettable Fuse – This will fix a dead controller port and if the fuse blows again all you need to do is unplug the console and wait a few minutes before plugging it back in.
- Capacitor – These go bad and leak after a while so it is a good idea to put a new one in while you are servicing everything else.
- Resistor – To replace the resistor on the board in case it is bad or as a preventative maintenance.
